David Lovrien
David Lovrien created of the John Philip Sousa site in 1996. He has been a saxophonist and Staff Arranger with the Grammy-nominated Dallas Winds since 1991. David is also a noted composer and founded of Lovebird Music publishing in 2007. He is also a genealogist, Celtic musician, and former software manager at Thomson Reuters.

Barry Owen Furrer
Barry Owen Furrer is a retired NJ public school music educator, a former conductor of Sousa-style concerts, and an armchair historian with a passion for John Philip Sousa-related artifacts and ephemera. This journey began nearly 50 years ago with a chance find of Sousa Band program at a local flea market and along with his long-suffering, yet very supportive wife, Susan, have amassed a museum-quality archive rivaling the collections of major institutions.

Jari Villanueva
Jari Villanueva is a 23-year veteran of the United States Air Force and the country’s foremost expert on military bugle calls. He is a member of the American Legion Post 109 in Arbutus, Maryland, the Air Force Musicians Association, the Maryland Historical Society, the Maryland Military Historical Society, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, and an associate member of the Society of the Honor Guard Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
